Column of Consciousness & Self-Inquiry Meditation
This meditation invites deep self-inquiry and connection to pure consciousness, guided by the teachings of Ramana Maharshi and Papaji. It begins by attuning to the radiant presence of Arunachala—the sacred mountain where Ramana lived—and allowing its light to permeate the nervous system. A column of pure consciousness is established to keep one grounded and centered. Through inquiry—asking “Who am I?”—the sense of self is explored beyond body, mind, and senses. The origin of the “I” is traced to the heart on the right, revealing the true nature as boundless, empty, and free. As the fixated self dissolves, it merges into the pure light of awareness. One rests as consciousness itself—unchanging, whole, and luminous. This process reveals the untouched freedom that has always been present, allowing the authentic self to shine in its natural radiance.
