MEDITERRANEAN ISLAND OF GOZO
Gozo, Malta’s sister island in the heart of the Mediterranean, is a tranquil haven defined by unspoilt countryside, dramatic coastlines, and a deep sense of history. Renowned for its slower pace of life, authentic villages, and warm hospitality, the island offers an ideal setting for retreats and mindful escapes. Gozo is a place where nature, culture, and serenity come together to inspire and restore.

PLACES OF INTEREST IN GOZO
Calypso's Cave

Calypso’s Cave overlooks the exceptionally breathtaking views of Gozo’s finest red sand Ramla beach. It is believed this is the cave that Homer refers to in The Odyssey. This is a story that describes the cave as the one where the stunning nymph Calypso retained the Greek hero, Odysseus for seven years as a “prisoner of love”. He was promised immortality if he stayed there with her after losing his ship and was landed there. In the end, it is believed that she let him leave and go back to his wife. Legend has it that she still waits for him.

As the Representative of the Holy Spirit, the Maha Chohan embodies the white light of all the rays and teaches the sevenfold balance of the rays of the Seven Mighty Elohim. The Maha Chohan was embodied as the blind poet Homer, whose epic poems, the Iliad and the Odyssey, include his twin flame, Pallas Athena, as a central figure.

Ä gantija Temples

Located on the Xaghra plateau in Gozo, the Ä gantija Archaeological Park is a remarkable prehistoric site dating back to around 3600–3200 BC. Comprising two well-preserved temple structures with separate entrances and a shared boundary wall, Ä gantija highlights the advanced craftsmanship of Neolithic builders. Evidence of painted and plastered walls, with fragments now displayed at the Interpretation Centre, further underlines the site’s historical and cultural significance.

Dwejra

Dwejra is one of Gozo’s most striking natural attractions, renowned for its dramatic coastal landscapes, rich geological features, and exceptional swimming and diving spots. Visitors can enjoy the deep waters of the bay, the calmer Inland Sea lagoon, or the Blue Hole, one of Gozo’s most popular dive sites. The area is also known for its fossil-rich rock formations, saltpans, and the remains of the former Azure Window, which had collapsed and is now a dive site. While the coastline is fascinating to explore, caution is advised during rough weather, especially near the shore’s edge.

With infinite love and Divine blessings,
