Importance of the REAL SELF
The Real Self is the eternal, divine essence within every being, which is inseparable from the Supreme Reality (God). The Real Self is not the ego, body, or mind, but the pure, unchanging consciousness that reflects divine truth, love, and unity. The Real Self is not obscured by the illusion (Maya) of worldly attachments and ignorance. The Real Self is realized by transcending the ego through meditation on God’s Name (Naam), living truthfully, and surrendering to the divine will. Discovering the Real Self involves inner stillness, devotion, and selfless service, leading to liberation (mukti) and union with the Infinite. This truth is universal, beyond caste, creed, or religion.
