Ascended Master Paul the Venetian, Chohan of the Third Ray

Paul the Venetian is the Chohan of the third ray of divine love. He is the hierarch of the etheric retreat, the Château de Liberté, located on the etheric plane over southern France on the Rhône River.

Paul the Venetian is a majestic being of six feet, five inches in height. He is fair of countenance with deep blue eyes and golden, wavy hair. He is usually garbed in raiment of emerald-green velvet. Since he is a native of Venus, where the inhabitants are masters of the Flame and therefore radiate harmony and divine love, Paul's natural heritage is beauty and grace, diplomacy and tact. His voice is melodious and kind, bringing comfort and peace to all who come in contact with his Presence.

The ascended master Paul the Venetian is a great teacher of the path of love. His devotion is to beauty, the perfection of the soul through compassion, patience, understanding, and self-discipline, and the development of the intuitive and creative faculties of the heart through the alchemy of self-sacrifice, selflessness, and surrender.

He initiates the heart chakra and trains us in the gift of the discerning of spirits—discerning good and evil, light and shadow, and the delicate nuances of all of our creations of beauty. Discernment is a real inner sensitivity to one another.

Paul sponsors the ascended master culture of Beauty and Truth for this age and works with all—artists, musicians, architects, designers, and craftsmen—who desire to bring that culture forth on behalf of mankind. The culture of the ascended masters of Light and Beauty is the keystone in the pyramid of the golden age. The ascended masters have pointed out that it is through culture—music, drama, architecture, and art—that mankind will respond to spiritual truths and the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood.

Paul the Venetian's twin flame is the ascended lady master Ruth Hawkins, the Goddess of Beauty. She ascended in 1995 at the age of eighty-eight and serves with him at the Temple of the Sun.

Paul the Venetian is an ascended master whose final incarnation was lived as Paolo Veronese, the great Italian artist of the Venetian school. He lived in the sixteenth century, and many of his great works, which hang in London, Paris, Madrid, Washington, and New York, are of religious scenes.

He portrayed episodes in Christ's life in works such as The Marriage at Cana, The Presentation in the Temple, The Via Dolorosa, Christ and the Centurion, and The Resurrection. After his ascension, he completed one painting, The Holy Trinity, which hangs in his retreat, the Château de Liberté, in southern France.

The ascended masters' retreats are on the etheric plane, but they are often congruent with a physical focus. The physical focus of beloved Paul's Château de Liberté retreat is a private château maintained by a French family.

The Holy Trinity embodies the essence of the inscription beneath it: “Perfect love casteth out fear.” This painting is viewed by souls who come as students of the master. Paul has portrayed the heavenly Father as a majestic figure, the Son in the likeness of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as an immense white dove with a nine-foot wingspan.

Paul gives us the essence of love, which is the Holy Spirit, love that is a self-sacrifice and a surrender to God's will. It's amazing, but the more we understand God's love, the more we realize it involves the total giving of the self to God in manifestation.

To give ourselves totally, we must discipline our energies and our way of life. Therefore, there is no love—as the true compassion of the Christ for us, for humanity—without the discipline of the self.

Paul uses the symbol of a rose unfolding within the heart to represent the unfolding of the consciousness of love.

He teaches that love is a pink flame, an intense fire that consumes all hatred of the Christ and manifestations of anti-Christ, which are anti the Real Self.

He shows us that love is simply the perpetual flowing of the crystal stream of God's consciousness. This flowing of the stream is both the giving and the receiving of the beloved and the soul, which is reaching up for that union with God.

Paul the Venetian, divine artist conferring by the excellence of works the image of Christ unique to every soul, preparing life streams by Love's disciplines for the initiations of the Sacred Heart and the Tree of Life: “Learn to love to do well and you shall!”
